Terms of Use & Terms and Conditions

Last updated: September 2026

These Terms of Use and Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Keyplan 3D website, application and related services provided by Quasarts (“Quasarts”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

By using Keyplan 3D, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.

1. About Keyplan 3D

Keyplan 3D is an application for creating, editing and visualising floor plans and interior-design projects in 2D and 3D.

Keyplan 3D is intended as a design and planning tool. It does not constitute professional architectural, engineering, construction, structural or other regulated professional advice.

Measurements, dimensions, areas and other information calculated or displayed by the application should be verified by the user before being relied upon for construction or other professional purposes.

2. Eligibility

You may use Keyplan 3D only if you are legally permitted to enter into a contract under the laws applicable to you.

If you use Keyplan 3D on behalf of a company or organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms on its behalf.

3. Licence to use the application

Subject to these Terms and any applicable purchase or subscription conditions, Quasarts grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use Keyplan 3D for its intended purposes.

You may not:

  • copy, reproduce or redistribute the application except where permitted by law;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the application except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law;
  • circumvent technical protection measures;
  • resell, rent, sublicense or commercially redistribute the application or its content unless expressly authorised;
  • use the service for unlawful purposes.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.

4. Purchases and subscriptions

Keyplan 3D may offer free features, paid features, individual content packs, bundles and subscriptions.

Prices, available products and subscription terms are displayed at the time of purchase.

Purchases made through Apple platforms are subject to Apple’s applicable terms and payment procedures. Apple may be responsible for processing the transaction, payment and certain aspects of subscription management.

Where purchases are made through another platform, the terms of that platform may also apply.

5. Subscriptions and cancellation

Where Keyplan 3D offers subscriptions, the applicable subscription price, billing period and renewal conditions are presented before purchase.

Unless otherwise stated by the applicable platform or law, subscriptions automatically renew until cancelled.

You can manage or cancel subscriptions through the platform through which you purchased them.

Cancellation normally prevents future renewal but does not automatically create a right to a refund for the current billing period, except where required by applicable law or the applicable platform’s refund policy.

6. Digital content and withdrawal rights

Keyplan 3D may provide digital content immediately after purchase.

Where applicable law gives consumers a right of withdrawal from a distance contract, that right may be affected when digital content is supplied immediately with the consumer’s express request and acknowledgement that the right of withdrawal is lost once performance begins, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights.

7. User projects and content

You retain ownership of projects and other content that you create using Keyplan 3D, subject to any rights belonging to third parties.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights to any content that you import into Keyplan 3D.

You grant Quasarts only the rights reasonably necessary to operate the service, provide requested functionality, maintain the service and provide technical support.

Where your projects are stored using a third-party service such as iCloud, that service may be subject to the third party’s own terms and conditions.

8. Keyplan 3D content

The Keyplan 3D application, interface, software, trademarks, logos, graphics, models, libraries, sounds, documentation and other materials supplied by Quasarts are protected by intellectual-property laws.

Except for the licence expressly granted under these Terms, all rights remain with Quasarts or its licensors.

Unless expressly permitted, you may not extract, reproduce, redistribute or commercially exploit Keyplan 3D content independently of the application.

9. Availability and updates

We may modify, update, suspend or discontinue features of Keyplan 3D from time to time.

We may release updates, including security, compatibility, performance and functionality updates.

Certain features may require an updated version of the application or operating system.

We do not guarantee that every feature will remain available indefinitely, except where a longer period is required by applicable law or a specific contractual commitment.

10. Accuracy of plans and measurements

Keyplan 3D provides tools for creating and visualising plans.

The application may calculate wall lengths, areas, dimensions and other measurements based on information entered or created by the user.

These calculations are provided as tools and may contain inaccuracies resulting from user input, device limitations, software limitations or other factors.

You are responsible for verifying measurements and technical information before using them for construction, renovation, purchasing materials or other decisions.

For structural, safety, regulatory or other professional matters, you should obtain advice from an appropriately qualified professional.

11. User responsibilities

You agree to use Keyplan 3D lawfully and responsibly.

You must not use the service to:

  • violate applicable law;
  • infringe intellectual-property or other rights;
  • interfere with the security or operation of the service;
  • introduce malicious software;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems or accounts;
  • abuse, overload or disrupt the service.

12. Third-party services

Keyplan 3D may interact with or rely on third-party services, including operating-system services, cloud-storage services, payment services, analytics services and other external providers.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Quasarts is not responsible for services that are independently operated by third parties.

13. Privacy

Our processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy forms part of the information governing your use of Keyplan 3D, but the processing of personal data is governed by the applicable data-protection legislation and the Privacy Policy.

14. Intellectual property

Keyplan 3D and its original content are owned by or licensed to Quasarts.

“Keyplan 3D”, the Keyplan 3D logo and related trademarks and branding may not be used without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.

15. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Keyplan 3D is provided for its intended design and planning purposes.

We do not guarantee that the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free or compatible with every device or software configuration.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

16. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Quasarts will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of Keyplan 3D.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for matters for which such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law, including applicable consumer protections.

For consumers, mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.

17. Suspension or termination

We may suspend or terminate access to services where reasonably necessary to:

  • prevent fraud or abuse;
  • protect the security of the service;
  • comply with legal obligations;
  • address serious or repeated violations of these Terms.

Where appropriate and legally required, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy the relevant issue.

Termination does not affect rights or obligations that arose before termination.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when reasonably necessary, including to reflect changes to our services, technology or legal requirements.

When changes materially affect your rights or obligations, we will provide appropriate notice where required by law.

The updated version will be published on this page with its effective date.

19. Consumer rights

If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms affects mandatory rights granted to you by the laws of your country of residence.

Where applicable, statutory guarantees concerning digital content and digital services remain unaffected.

Any contractual provision that is found to be unenforceable against a consumer will not affect the remaining provisions.

20. Complaints and amicable resolution

If you have a problem with Keyplan 3D, please contact us first:

contact[a]keyplan3d.com

We will make reasonable efforts to resolve complaints directly and amicably.

For consumers in France, you may also have access to a consumer mediation procedure where the applicable legal conditions are satisfied.

The applicable mediator and the procedure will be identified in accordance with the requirements applicable to Quasarts.

The former European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform should not be referenced here: it was discontinued on 20 July 2025.

21. Arbitration and alternative dispute resolution

Consumers

Nothing in these Terms requires a consumer to submit a dispute exclusively to arbitration or prevents a consumer from exercising rights before a competent court where such rights cannot legally be waived.

Where applicable law provides for mandatory or voluntary alternative dispute resolution, the parties may use such procedures.

Any arbitration agreement involving a consumer shall apply only to the extent permitted by the mandatory law applicable to that consumer.

Business users

Where Keyplan 3D is used by a business or professional acting in the course of its business, the parties may agree in writing to resolve disputes through arbitration.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, any arbitration shall be conducted by an established arbitration institution or procedure agreed by the parties.

The arbitration agreement, procedure, seat, language and applicable rules shall be determined in accordance with the applicable agreement between the parties.

Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking urgent or provisional measures from a competent court where permitted by law.

22. Governing law and jurisdiction

For consumers, the mandatory consumer-protection laws of the country in which the consumer habitually resides remain applicable where required by law.

For business users, unless otherwise agreed in writing, these Terms are governed by the laws of France, without prejudice to mandatory provisions applicable in another jurisdiction.

For disputes involving business users, the competent courts shall be determined in accordance with applicable law and any valid jurisdiction agreement between the parties.

23. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

The invalid provision will be interpreted or replaced, where legally possible, in a manner that most closely reflects its original purpose while respecting applicable law.

24. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with any applicable purchase or subscription terms and the Privacy Policy, constitute the terms governing your use of Keyplan 3D, except where additional terms expressly apply to a particular service or purchase.
